Being this our first blog post ever I saw fitting that we talked a bit about us and why we do what we do, instead of just saying that we produce animated explainer videos and delve in the dark arts of corporate identity design and branding. The “why” is always much more interesting.
If you’ve ever been a client of ours, you probably know where this conversation is going. And the answer is yes, we are about to quote Simon Sinek on you. But we can’t stress enough the importance of the “why” in communicating what we do.
It probably is one of the biggest marketing clichés, there’s a reason it has become one. We believe in creating a connection with everyone we work with, in building a relationship. And we believe that stories and how you tell them are the most powerful way of creating this connection. This is what drives us, it makes us wake up and come to work every morning, meeting all kinds of people and learn how they’ve started these great companies or got to that amazing idea, to the point we write blog posts about it.
This however comes at a price, some are just interested in carrying out a transaction, a simple business transaction. This means not everyone is willing to work with you, and that’s ok. We are not trying to hide the fact that we want to sell, bottom line we all want to sell, we all need to sell, and sales is the only thing keeping any business alive.
Our best work usually comes from projects with clients who believe in our product and not just following a marketing fad. It’s about learning to identify those who share your values, understanding who your client is and finding that common ground to start building from there. Then start making business.
